psp emulation

I’m kicking myself at the moment after discovering that the recent PSP emulators and home brew games only work on v1.00 of the handheld’s firmware – I have learned this after updating to version v1.51 (Although recent news suggests that a few of these have been made to run on v1.50 at the very least for now)

PSP Hacker has a full list of emulators that are currently running on PSP - considering the short life span of this system, its quite an extensive selection!

As a shmup fan, this will prove to be a temporary way to fill this gap – at least until the first original shmups are released.

Also the home-brew project Beats of Rage has been ported – a game which gives many a nod to the Mega Drive days.
